“I’ve still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you.” – HAL 9000 in ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’
As AI integrates into more and more aspects of our daily work and collaboration, new leadership challenges emerge:
- How can we prevent AI from eroding trust and psychological safety within and across teams?
- How is working with AI affecting how we collaborate with each other?
- How can we reframe adaptation of AI as a learning process rather than IT implementation?
- How is the adaptation of AI impacting the role and importance of shared culture, values and sense of belonging?
- What are the critical blind spots and dilemmas that we need to address as leaders?
In this informal symposium from 14.00 – 16.30, we invite peers and kindred leadership enthusiasts to join the critical conversations about the impact of AI on leadership as a role and practice. Also, we have a few guests joining us to speak in this session:
- Susanne Bjerre Mortensen, Head of HR, Personal Customers and Financial Crime Risk & Prevention, Danske Bank
- Christina Burgwald, Partner and People Consulting Leader, EY Nordics
This in-person event is free and for professionals who work internally in complex organisations with AI, change or leadership.
For inspiration on some of the subjects that we will discuss at the symposium, we recommend taking a look at this recent HBR article by Jayshree Seth and Amy C. Edmondson – How to Foster Psychological Safety When AI Erodes Trust on Your Team.
