Course day for Region Hovedstaden

Region Hovedstaden (The Capital Region of Denmark) is working to become more innovative at all levels, and in 2013 Workz in collaboration with the Region carried out a five-day innovation pilot course for the employees of a broad range of health care institutions in the region.

The course was based on the region’s innovation model and the participants worked with their own cases as well as with three challenges form Glostrup Hospital. The casework made use of user observations, interviews, idea development, prototype development, user tests etc.

No “fancy” solutions but solid professionalism and knowledge and respect for the target group combined with a refreshing willingness to share it all

As a grand finale the results were presented for Glostrup Hospital and several leaders from the region.

The course was a success and the region is working on making it a permanent part of the region’s educational programme.

“Workz’ consultants were incredibly apt at understanding our organisational context and the challenges we tried to address with the course. – No “fancy” solutions but solid professionalism and knowledge and respect for the target group combined with a refreshing willingness to share it all. The consultants have a colossal knowledge and extensive practical experience with innovation and innovation projects. And they knew how to teach. All five days were filled with presence, humour, flexibility and room for reflection and difference of opinion” says Charlotte Andersen, Leadership and Organisational consultant, Centre for HR.
