Personal data and privacy

At Workz we try to be as transparent and conservative in our use of personal data as possible. Not just to comply with the requirements of the law, but also because it is the right thing to do.

Here is a quick overview of the personal data we handle as a part of running Workz.

Friend of Workz

We only do automated marketing through our mailing list; Friends of Workz. It is our way to keep in touch with people who are interested in our approach, what we do and who we are.

As a member of this list you will receive no more than one or two mails a month.

The list is hosted by Hubspot and is fully GDPR compliant.

Partner companies, client and contacts

If you do business with Workz (as a supplier or customer) we need to store your contact information for the duration of the project and afterwards as required by the laws of accounting. This information is needed for things like invoicing, any potential IRS audits, and to be able to contact you later on matters relating to the project.

So, if you have bought services from us, or the other way around, some personal data cannot be deleted. But we will never use this data to target you for unsolicited marketing.

Through our email-provider and CRM-systems we also keep track of the conversations we have with existing and potential customers, partners and collaborators. We do this to make sure we do not forget agreements and to minimise the risk of us contacting people more then once about the same topic or us contacting people who would rather that we did not.

As a general rule though, we do not contact or target people as individuals but rather as representatives of their companies or organisations. Any personal data stored will be limited to contact details and a history of interactions. You can at any time contact us to find out what we know about you and to have us delete it.

Certified users

To use our leadership simulations you need to be personally certified. This is our way of making sure that the end-users get the best possible experience.

For us to keep track of who are certified in one or more of our simulations we need to store their names and contact details for as long as they want to remain certified.

If they no longer want to be certified we can of course delete this information.

Job applicants

When we have job openings we store personal data for the duration of the process of hirering. Once the position has been filled we delete all applications unless we get a specific permission to keep the data. We may ask for such permissions if we would like to be able to contact the applicant for a later job opening for instance.

Events

We store the names and contact information from people who sign up to and/or participate in our events.

Website tracking

We track and analyse the traffic on this website using analytics software. We do this to understand what content is most popular and where the readers come from. The purpose of this is to learn how we can best help our existing customers and partners as well as how to find new ones.

We also use cookies to track when users are logged into our system.
