Playmakers®

Project management is a common place practice in any large organisation. So much so that even people not working with project management will happily tell you how it is done.

Project leadership, however, is a very different, more nuanced story. And the fact is that the most successful project managers are leaders first. Playmakers trains the leadership skills to make your project and team excel.

"Playmakers gives a fantastic insight into the many different aspects that demand consideration in a big company – both on a political and a personal level - to ensure optimal performance. The simulation offered us a great platform for common understanding about what good project management is to us –the way we do it."
- Søren Skafte Overgaard, CEO, e-Types

Beyond budgets and milestones

Playmakers focuses on the leadership aspect of team management. The simulation will assess and develop your ability to recognize individual personality traits and preferences in your team and respond with effective leadership that increases your team’s performance.

People are different and so are their needs and preferences. Identifying these is one of your finest tasks as a leader of a team, because it allows you to adjust your leadership style to the needs of the situation and your team members. This is what you will train in Playmakers.

In the simulation you will work to meet each team members need for central aspects as clarity, motivation, recognition – while setting common goals and balancing stakeholders. You will gain insights into different realistic personality types and inspiration for specific actions and strategies that increase the effects of your leadership.

"Playmakers helps our clients develop a shared language and common frame of reference when talking about leadership, while discovering what is needed to create high performance teams going forward”.
