A Week of Play 2020

More than a hundred of practitioners within the fields of change management, leadership development, HR and business development from all over the world visited our offices in the last week of January.

With participants from Denmark, Germany, England, Serbia, Switzerland and USA the event was truly global this year. Thank you so much, to all who took time out of their busy calendars to visit us here in Copenhagen.

A Week of Play 2020 is now history, but luckily we have the memories.

For those who were not able to join this year, the video above can give a taste of the action. For us who were there it gives us a chance to relive the moments.

Demonstrations and talks

During the four days we had the pleasure of running eight demonstrations of our leadership simulations as well as our new game on stress prevention based on the MINDStrain method.

Read more about the simulation here; Bridgebuilders®, Playmakers®, Wallbreakers®Gamechangers® and Timekeepers™.

Each of the four days included a talk by one of our own consultants during lunch.

  • Ask Agger talked about inclusive and ceremonial leadership and about Leading From Trust
  • Svend Ask Larsen talked about decision making in agile organisations
  • Klaus Meier Olsen talked about change leadership in general

But the best talks were the ones we had with the participants in between sessions and during the reflections. We get so much inspiration from talking to our peers and listening to their perspectives.

Future events

The next Week of Play might be a year away, but we regularly host symposiums on topics that matter to us, our clients and collaborators. In the past we have had everything from four-day work weeks and diversity to compliance leadership and operational excellence on the agenda.

Sign up to our mailing list Friends of Workz of you want to make sure you are invited to all our events.
